We are saddened to hear that one of the boys we have featured in our posts, Caleb Darling from Roxburgh, has recently been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.
Caleb (9) is a talented young sportsman who played Cricket for the Molyneux Hurricanes last season and has been playing rugby for the Roxburgh RFC under 10s. He will be undergoing some intense treatments at Ronald McDonald House in Christchurch which will mean long stays away from home for Caleb and his family.
We are putting together a printed and framed photo board with some images of Caleb playing sport and have agreed with Caleb’s family to donate this item to an Auction that is being held to raise funds for Caleb’s care on 9 September 2016. If you have any queries about the auction please contact Carly Bennetts (firstname.lastname@example.org).
You can donate towards Caleb’s treatment via the givealittle page Caleb’s Journey.
We are sending all our best wishes to Caleb and his family. Like everyone in our community we are keen to see his full recovery and see him back on the Central Otago sports fields soon.
